1 jar Just+Add Beer Smoky Japanese Miso BBQ
1 bottle (12 ounces) Dry River Brewing or Your Favorite Ale
1 – 1.5 pounds Salmon (3 filets)
2 Scallions (optional)
pinch Seasame Seed (optional)
STEP 1: MAKE SAUCE
In a mixing bowl, combine 4 tablespoons JustAdd Beer Smoky Japanese Miso BBQ + 2 tablespoons of Dry River Brewing or your favorite Ale and set aside for glaze.
STEP 2: MAKE MARINADE
In a separate medium mixing bowl, combine the rest of your Ale with the rest of the jar of Just+Add Beer Smoky Japanese Miso BBQ to create the marinade for salmon.
STEP 3: SEASON & MARINATE
In a large mixing bowl, season salmon with salt and pepper combine with marinade sauce and mix well. Transfer to fridge covered for at least 30 minutes.
STEP 4: BROIL & GLAZE
Set the oven to broil. Place salmon on a sheet pan with a roasting rack. SKIN SIDE UP. Broil skin side up 2 minutes until caramelized (watch to prevent burning). Flip and broil flesh side up for 2 minutes. Flip one more time on each side for 2 minutes, brushing on glaze allowing it to caramelize.
STEP 5: PLATE & GARNISH
Serve over steamed rice and/or your choice of prepared veggies and a tall cold one of your Sour Ale.
