HAMMERED BBQ WINGS

The Grilled Chicken Wing.. best sh*t ever, anywhere and everywhere.

TIP: Reserve 4 tablespoons of sauce for glazing wings once they are on the grill. No grill, no problembo – roast these in the oven at a high heat or broil them to get a bit of char.

HARDWARE: Grill, Mixing Bowl, Tongs

INGREDIENTS:
1 jar Just+Add Beer Smoky Japanese Miso BBQ
1 bottle (12 ounces) Brewrij West Starfish or Your Favorite IPA
1 pound Chicken Wings
1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
1 Lime Wedge (optional)
pinch Scallion (optional)

STEP 1: MAKE SAUCE & GLAZE

Combine 4 tablespoons of Just+Add Smoky Japanese Miso BBQ + 2 tablespoons Brewrij West Starfish or your favorite IPA and set aside to use as glaze or dipping sauce.

STEP 2: MAKE MARINADE

In a medium mixing bowl combine the remainder of Just+Add Beer SmokyJapanese Miso BBQ + remainder of IPA to create marinade.

STEP 3: MARINATE WINGS

Add the marinade to the chicken and mix well in a Ziploc® bag for storage to marinate at least 30 minutes.

STEP 4: GRILL WINGS

Preheat your grill to medium heat. Maintain a medium heat turning regularly. Too hot and it’ll burn the sauce. Once you’ve started to get a bit of caramelization – start to brush glaze on the wings – turning and glazing regularly until done.

STEP 5: PLATE & SERVE

Garnish wings with scallion and a slice of lime.
