MISO BUZZED SWEET POTATOES

Just+Add Beer can create unbelievable compound butters (butter + flavoring). When making sweet potatoes cooked up with this flavor you’ll wanna gear up for a new mouth adventure!

TIP: Take out butter out of refrigerator to soften before cooking.

HARDWARE: Small Mixing Bowl, Roasting Pan, Fork

YIELDS 4-6 servings
PREP & COOK 20 minutes
READY IN 90 minutes

INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoons Just+Add Beer Smoky Japanese Miso BBQ
1 tablespoon Brouwerie West or Your Favorite Saison
1 stick, 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
1 tablespoon Kosher Salt
2-4 medium Sweet Potatoes
5 sprigs Cilantro (garnish)

STEP 1: PREP

Preheat oven to 400°F. Wash and scrub potatoes. Cut in half length-wise and toss with vegetable oil. Arrange in a roasting or casserole pan and season with salt and pepper. Cover tightly with foil and place in oven 30-45 minutes, depending on size of potatoes.

STEP 2: MAKE SAUCE

Combine 2 tablespoons of Just+Add Beer Smoky Japanese Miso BBQ + 1 tablespoon Brouwerie West or your favorite Saison.

STEP 3: MAKE BUTTER

In medium mixing bowl combine soft butter, salt and sauce mix. Whisk to combine well and whip it a bit.

STEP 4: CHILL

Transfer mixed butter to a container and chill in refrigerator while your potatoes finish roasting.

STEP 5: UNCOVER & FINISH

Remove the foil make check potatoes making sure they’re tender. Leave the foil off and cook for another 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

STEP 6: PLATE & GARNISH

Remove from oven. Put them on a plate and slather them with your delicious Just+Add Beer Miso Buzzed Butter.
